A PIONEERING brand-new service helping individuals in South Gloucestershire with dementia has been shortlisted for a national award. The GP-provided Memory Evaluation Service, which has increased dementia diagnosis rates in the county from 38% to 58% in its very first year and decreased waiting times, has been consisted of in the elections for a prominent Health Service Journal award for Development in Mental Health.
