National recognition for Ealing and Hounslow dementia services teams

The teams who provide dementia services in Ealing and Hounslow have been applauded for a memory care programme it provides patients. The cognitive disability and dementia services (CIDS) groups, run by West London Mental Health NHS Trust, got a certificate of excellence for their high requirements through the Memory Services National Accreditation Programme (MSNAP). Both CIDS teams went through a thorough evaluation which included assessors consulting clients, carers, staff and GPs about the services.
