Bolton health trust strikes target figures for scientific research BOLTON is amongst a variety of NHS Rely on Greater Manchester increasing the research it offers patients. Inning accordance with a league table by the National Institute for Health Research Clinical Research Network (NIHR CRN) all NHS trusts in England are providing scientific research, supplying thousands more patients with access to better treatments and care. The table, which was released last month, has shown how both Bolton NHS Structure Trust, Bolton Scientific Commissioning Group and the North West Ambulance Service Trust (NWAS) have increased the variety of studies they conduct. More than 60,000 clients have taken part in clinical research studies and over half of NHS trusts increased the number of research studies in the last year.
